New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes was a series of live radio dramas sponsored in 1939-40 by Grove’s Bromo Quinine. The series later enjoyed an extended run under the sponsorship of Petri Wines. Both Rathbone and Bruce were credited for shaping cultural appreciation for Holmes and Watson in their iconic roles.
