Description
This nine-lesson class is a combination of videos, readings, assignments, and resources. The goal of this class is to help explain the current college landscape from a Christian perspective.
The class is taught by Libby Purifoy, who recently graduated with an English degree at Union University, a Christian college in Jackson, Tennessee. She was homeschooled through high school so knows firsthand what the transition between home and college for a homeschooled student feels like.
Since starting college, she transferred universities once and switched majors multiple times. She’s gone to schools both near and far from home; she’s juggled 18 hours of classes while working up to 25 hours a week as a Residence Advisor; she’s cooked for herself because of allergies; and she’s had to navigate difficult roommate situations.
Overall, Libby has grown in her relationship with Christ through her college experience. She is excited to share what she’s learned so other students can prepare themselves to succeed in college.
