Our coaching team is staffed by experienced homeschool moms who love the Lord and have successfully homeschooled with a variety of methods and curricula. They can do much more than answer questions—they can help you plan, evaluate, and make the adjustments you need to see your family succeed in homeschooling this year. Pick a coach with the expertise you need, and book a session to try things out! There is no long-term commitment needed.

About Danielle

Danielle Foltz has been a Compass customer support team member since 2022. She has homeschooled her three kiddos, and now has a college graduate, another currently in college, and a special needs high schooler. She and her husband have learned to blaze their own path as their family has navigated their youngest son’s complex medical and developmental special needs.

Danielle has used her natural giftedness as well as the unique journey the Lord has given her to help numerous homeschooling families with general counsel, special needs strategy support, and system creation. Check out some of the areas that God has given her a passion to share!

Danielle’s Help for Homeschooling Families

• Guiding families through a Charlotte Mason-inspired approach to homeschooling, especially special needs families navigating moderate intellectual disabilities and complex medical needs.
• Offering ideas to balance the demands of caring for a special needs child while giving attention to neurotypical siblings, with a heart to create a culture of peace in the home — even when life is less than peaceful.
• Encouraging breathing room for the caregivers by working to increase independence in both your special needs and neurotypical children by building essential life skills and creating systems to support self-sufficiency.
• Offering practical strategies and gentle encouragement to help siblings contribute to the care of their disabled brother or sister, fostering empathy and connection.
• Assisting your family through the educational journey—whether it’s navigating high school, exploring career paths, or guiding your children through the college application process and beyond.
• Providing curriculum recommendations, creative adaptations, and strategies for meeting specific needs, including ideas for maintaining daily rhythms even on challenging medical days.
• Addressing common doubts like, “Can I really do this?” and reminding you to give yourself grace when things don’t go as planned.
• Encouraging you to embrace the unique family God has blessed you with, finding peace and contentment in a quieter, more unconventional life.
• Offering creative ideas for homeschooling cooperatives on how to include and support special needs students in a consistent, meaningful way.

How Coaching Works

2. After check out, you will receive an immediate email with a link to schedule the appointment(s) on the coach’s calendar.
3. Your coach may be in touch with additional information ahead of the appointment.

How Much Time Do I Need?

The short answer is “It depends.” When you book your appointment, you will also be given a short form where you can specify the areas you’d like to focus on, as well as anything else you want to tell us about your circumstances, context, or needs your family or students might have.
