Our coaching team is staffed by experienced homeschool moms who love the Lord and have successfully homeschooled with a variety of methods and curricula. They can do much more than answer questions—they can help you plan, evaluate, and make the adjustments you need to see your family succeed in homeschooling this year. Pick a coach with the expertise you need, and book a session to try things out! There is no long-term commitment needed.

About Christina

Christina Barnes is a dedicated homeschool educator who has successfully guided all six of her children through a rich and rewarding educational journey. With two of her children now thriving in college, and the others continuing their education at home, Christina has embraced the Charlotte Mason methodology. Her approach is deeply rooted in biblical principles and emphasizes the use of great books, immersion in God’s creation, storytelling in history, and a strong appreciation for the arts, especially music.

Christina teaches her children to be quick to forgive, to practice humility, and to approach learning with a sense of wonder, instilling in them a lifelong love for learning. Her philosophy is beautifully captured in the phrase “Soli Deo Gloria,” reflecting her commitment to glorifying God through her teaching.

Christina and Jonathan, her husband of 24 years, call Nashville home, and are members of Covenant Presbyterian Church. She graduated Vanderbilt University in 1999 with majors in English and French.

3. Your coach may be in touch with additional information ahead of the appointment.

How Much Time Do I Need?

The short answer is “It depends.” When you book your appointment, you will also be given a short form where you can specify the areas you’d like to focus on, as well as anything else you want to tell us about your circumstances, context, or needs your family or students might have.
