Help New Homeschool Moms

homeschool help

The recent news, school closures, and mandatory “distance learning” across the globe, we wanted to take a minute to reach out to our Compass Classroom family and share a few simple ways to help new homeschool moms in your community! We realize many families are suddenly in search of great resources.

Help New Homeschool Moms

Being a Compass Classroom user it’s easy to share how great our products have been for your family. We also offer many free lessons, downloads, and encouragement for those who have never tried a course before. We hope you will share these valuable resources!

Homeschool Made Simple

What better opportunity than to sit with a homeschool veteran and have her wealth of experience and knowledge passed down? Unfortunately, not every mom has access to a veteran for help. Thankfully, Carole Joy Seid gives advice and wisdom in this “small group” setting. Sit back with a cup of coffee and be encouraged watching Homeschool Made Simple.

Free Lessons!

We encourage moms to try lessons before buying video courses. We have a long list of free lessons (over 30) here.

Membership Subscription

Compass Classroom offers a generous monthly membership subscription. For $29 each month a family has access to over 22 courses from any device in the house. Right now we are running a special, sign up for 2 weeks free!

Free Resources

We have been making video courses for 10 years and believe that our courses are the best video courses available. But it’s always nice to add a printable or game to the lesson. All of our free downloads are available here.

The Homeschool Planner and High School Subject Planner are a great resource for homeschool moms.

Encourage One Another

Some days a free printable just doesn’t excite a mom who feels overwhelmed. We can offer all the free lessons on the planet, but we just need a Word of encouragement. We believe God’s Word gives hope. Be encouraged friend!

Deuteronomy 31:8
It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up …

Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

Psalm 31:24 Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
